EWA – ARTIST

I’d love to be able to paint.

After spending professional years as a research scientist, I started a new stage of my life focusing on creating a variety of watercolor, mixed media paintings and artistic photography.

Whole my life I was fascinated by a variety of masterpiece creations: paintings, sculptures, mosaics, architectural religious and historical designs, etc. I admired art displays in numerous galleries and museums during my trips around the world.  I am relentlessly curious human being.  I think that we have to walk that fine line of living in the moment and also capturing the moment via art as well. Life is not meant to be lived in black and white.  It is meant to be lived in beautiful colors.

In my art creations I am expressing deep personal feelings towards nature and painted subjects.  I try to give in-depth attention to range of flamboyant colors found in a simple beauty of common objects.  My desire is to present them as products of personal vision: vivid and vibrant art pieces. I use my scientific background to mix painting media to create creative special effects.

In paintings I am aiming to project a playful perspective of chosen subjects using mixture of sophisticated colors.

Art instructors and teachers who contributed to my development are: John Peters, Annika Farmer., Jennifer Thiel, Dottie Geibert, and David Rankin.
